When asked about her favorite Memphis memory, Jani recalls introducing her now-husband to the city through a day packed with all her favorite things—block parties on Mud Island, a 901 FC soccer game, and a rooftop picnic overlooking the Mighty Lights show. “I had to sell Memphis as the best city in the world,” she laughs. It worked. That day solidified their love for the city, and Memphis has been home ever since.
